Marco Verratti wanted by Barcelona presidential candidate - agent

Marco Verratti's agent has revealed he has been approached by a Barcelona presidential candidate over the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, but insisted his client is happy in the French capital.
Speaking to Italian media, Donato di Campli acknowledged there had been contact between with Barcelona presidential candidate Toni Freixa regarding the availability of Verratti, 22, should he be elected at the Camp Nou.
He said: "With Freixa, we've never met each other, we have only talked on the phone. There is contact every day with a lot of people, but that doesn't mean anything.

"Marco is absolutely clear. He feels good in Paris and has a long-term contract. If a club wants him, they have to contact Paris Saint-Germain, not us."
Verratti, who was bought from Pescara for €8 million in 2012, has been courted by a number of clubs, including Juventus and Real Madrid, since establishing himself at PSG.
He has, however, consistently outlined his content at the French club, though Di Campli told Cadena Ser Verratti does harbour ambitions of pulling on a Barca shirt.
"He would love to play for Barcelona, but PSG won't sell him," the Italian said.
