Liverpool Track Barca’s Nigerian Teen Star

English Premiership side Liverpool have contacted Barcelona over a summer move for their highly rated teenage star Bobby Adekanye, the Daily Mail has reported.

The 16-year-old who is eligible to feature for the Golden Eaglets at the fort coming FIFA World Cup in Chile was one of the five transfers to Barcelona's youth system that were banned from playing for the club in a clampdown by FIFA last summer over claims they had been signed illegally.

Adekanye currently on loan at PSV Eindhoven was born in Nigeria but moved to Amsterdam Holland when he was four to live with his family. 

He arrived in Barcelona in 2011 after spending time with Ajax. 

Adekanye who played for Holland in February earlier this year at the UEFA U16 development tournament, has been cleared to play for Barcelona.

Mrs Balogun who had her baby shower on a yatch in Lagos on May 17, this year is currently in the UK where the baby is expected to be delivered.
