Liverpool Transfer News: Tevez MISERY, Henderson talks Sterling EXIT, defender setback

Carlos Tevez appears unlikely to join Liverpool, according to reports.
The Juventus striker has attracted interest from the Reds and Atletico Madrid, but it seems he could be heading back to his former club Boca Juniors.
"We spoke with Carlitos about the future, but now we have to leave him alone so that he can play in the Copa America... if an agreement with Juventus is reached, Boca will make the maximum effort," Boca president Daniel Angelici told TyC Sports.
I'm sure Raheem will be speaking with the club and trying to sort that situation out very quickly
Jordan Henderson
Jordan Henderson is confident Raheem Sterling's future at Liverpool will be sorted out soon.
Manchester City have increased their bid to £40million for Sterling, but Liverpool aren't budging over their asking price.
And Henderson is hoping Sterling's future won't drag on too much longer.

Raheem Sterling faces an uncertain future at Liverpool
He told football website Goal: "I'm sure Raheem will be speaking with the club and trying to sort that situation out very quickly.
"For me as a friend and as a player at this club, of course I want him to stay but that's down to him."
Barcelona reportedly have no intention to sell Marc Bartra.
The centre-back has been linked to Liverpool and Arsenal, but Barca's international sporting director told Italian news outlet fcinternews: "We have no intention of transferring him, therefore I consider him to be a player who is unavailable."

‘AI’s report sponsored to distract Buhari’

Media Director, Amnesty International, Susanna Flood
A coalition of civil society organisations has faulted the report of the Amnesty International, which indicted some serving and former Nigerian military officers for alleged human rights violations in the North-East geo-political zone.
The coalition described the report as “lopsided and maliciously orchestrated by some disgruntled elements to distract the Presidency.”
The convener of the coalition, Dr. Nwambu Gabriel, at a press briefing on Wednesday in Abuja, said, “We believe that AI’s report is rather a distraction because it is too early for a government that is less than one month. President (Muhammadu) Buhari should be allowed to settle down since the fight against insurgency is still ongoing. AI should stop looking for cheap popularity.
“AI should as a matter of urgency render a written apology to the Nigerian military for raising false alarm, wrong information and misinformation to the international community.”
Gabriel said the AI’s report failed to expose the atrocities perpetrated by members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect.
He said, “AI was quick in passing its judgment because the war against insurgency is still on. The AI should probe countries aiding and financing Boko Haram and bring out the atrocities perpetrated by the sect.
“Nigerians have suffered because of these insurgents; after Boko Haram has been wiped out, AI should come out with a comprehensive report. The AI’s report is lopsided because it did not give information as to the number of military personnel that were killed by the insurgents. We reject the report in its totality.”
According to him, the Nigerian military has demonstrated its stand on discipline on peacekeeping operations abroad and in Nigeria, stressing that it would be a disservice if it fails to tell the truth.
“AI has deliberately decided to accuse and stigmatise individual officers who are known to be committed in this war against the terror group, citing instances gathered from some disgruntled elements and faceless collaborators, which is a clear sign of grossly biased judgement.
“The assembling of specific names of some senior officers within the military buttresses this fact by an organisation that is expected to be fair and just to all,” Gabriel stressed.

Iggy Azalea opens up about struggling with body confidence

25-year-old rapper, Iggy Azalea who recently got engaged to Nick Young underwent breast surgery earlier this year and candidly opened up about how she struggles with body confidence

'Some days I want to crawl into a cave': Iggy Azalea opens up about struggling with body confidence and embracing her 'flaws' months after breast enhancement surgery.
'Some days I want to crawl into a cave because I don't feel confident at all, and then other days I feel great,'  she told viewers on the Today Show.

'I think it's like that for all human beings, not just young women.
'I think being confident 100-per cent every day is something to aspire to, but I don't think it's humanly possible for anybody.'
Before and after: Back in May she prompted speculation that she had undergone rhinopasty, and the results were clear on Today (right), as opposed to her profile previously (left)
When asked whether the happy couple have set a date, she said: 'Probably July or August next summer, a year from now.'
However, she said the wedding will take place in the States and not in Australia because Nick has a large family while hers is small, she said it will be easier to take hers to the US than the other way round.

And as for the dress, she said:
'I think I'll go with something very glamorous and big, maybe a long train,' she revealed.
'I think, when you're a celebrity, you fortunately go on red carpets so much and wear the sexy silhouette gowns- so I've worn my fair share of those.

Georgian government criticised for deadly tiger attack

A tiger that had broken loose after severe flooding at the zoo in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, has mauled a man to death two days after government announced the city was safe.

Police commandos killed the predator on Wednesday at a warehouse where it jumped on a worker.

“We entered the depot and, suddenly, a white tiger rushed out of an adjacent room and attacked one of the workers, jumping at his throat and mauling him,” Alexander Shavbulashvili, a colleague of the killed 40-year-old man whose name was not publicised, told the AP news agency.

The incident caused public criticism of the country’s government as Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili announced on Monday that all of the predators had been killed by snipers or drowned.

“Why did we lose on more person for the stupidity and irresponsibility? Why didn’t they not say that they didn’t count them properly?” said Nino Danelia, Tbilisi resident, referring to the government.

Another resident said the government’s negligence equalled “murder”.

“We have an impotent, liar and murderer government,” said Sofo Datuashvili, 32.

Meanwhile, the authorities blamed the zoo officials for failing to provide reliable information.

“The responsibility for counting the animals is of course the responsibility of the zoo administration,” Davit Narmania, the mayor of Tbilisi, told the local news publication, Liberali, on Wednesday.

Dear ladies; if a man did to you what Kanye did to Kim, would you accept it?

I read something Kim K said in an interview yesterday and it got me wondering. If I were her, would I accept it? You know how a man can come into your life and want to change you into their own perception of who you should be or maybe just what they want you to be. Below is what Kim said;
'My style was really fun and flirty and cute; very colorful, very trendy. When I started dating Kanye, he was like, "Babe, you have so many crazy shoes and platforms with spikes and jewels, so much going on. Can I have my stylist come and we'll clean out your closet? I've become in love with this still sexy but just cleaner look.'
Kanye removed everything from her closet & put in new stuff. He even tells her how to do her hair. Kim's style has since changed. Would you let a guy come into your life & change your sense of style?

I just take one day at time and plan my life.”

Fayose Denies Owing Three Month Salaries

Governor Ayo Fayose’s government has reacted on the supposed indebtedness to workers in the State. The state says only May 2015 salary was being owed by his government.
Special Assistant to the governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, on Wednesday said the only salary yet to be paid by the state was that of May 2015.
Fayose Denies Owing Three Month Salaries
Governor Ayodele Fayose
Olayinka claimed the past All Progressives Congress (APC) government of Dr Kayode Fayemi refused to pay August and September, 2014 salary despite receiving allocations for the two months.
The governor’s aide added that the August 2014 salaries have been paid. He said the state was working on how to pay the September salaries.
On the unpaid May salaries Olayinka said: “Allocation of May that was received was not enough to pay salary, leaving the government with the option of waiting for June allocation that is expected to be released next week and the moment that is done, workers will get their May salary.”
He continued; “It is also important to point out that apart from the shortfall in the allocation coming to the State from the federation account; the gross mismanagement of the State finances by the immediate past APC government is responsible for the present parlous state of the State finances.
“As at the time we assumed office, unpaid Bank loan was N15, 831,613,425.62 while outstanding payment from the N25bn bond was N26, 749,796,784.75, making N42.6bn debt from bank loans and bond alone! N21, 286,126,749 was outstanding payment to road contractors while N5, 137,888,224.37 was outstanding emoluments to State Public Servants.
“The State was able to meet up with payment of salary because of the six months moratorium gotten from financial institutions from which the immediate past government obtained loans.
“Painfully, these credit facilities were not used to execute income-generating projects, and the repercussion of the financial recklessness of the past administration is the parlous economic situation of the State now.
“However, with the cooperation of the people, especially the workers, the government will continue to strive to rescue the State from the financial predicament that it was plunged into by the immediate past government.”
For months now, state workers have been complaining of months of unpaid salaries and allowances. Many governor have blamed the situation on the dwindling federal  allocations.
To manage the dwindling financial resources in states, some governors and state lawmakers have began taking a paycut so as to use their allowances to pay staffs.

Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindo of Adamawa state has promised to take a paycut while, Nasir El-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, says he would cut his and his deputy, Mr Barnabas Bala’s, salaries by 50% until the economic situation in the state improved.

Governor Wike Layoffs 344 Staff Of State Polytechnic

Governor Nyesome Wike is at the centre of a soaring tension in Rivers state as his verdict has left no fewer than 344 newly recruited staff, including lecturers of the State Polytechnic, Bori without jobs.
PM News earlier reported that Governor Wike may likely layoff the 13,200 teachers employed by his predecessor, Rotimi Ameachi after a resolution passed on Tuesday by the State House of Assembly gave him the right to do so.
It was gathered that Governor Wike may sack the teachers after the board of the State Civil Service Commission was accused of breaching rules and illegally employing workers into the state service.
However, following the right issued to him (Wike), 344 newly recruited staff were shown the way out of service after they fell into the category of workers adjudged to have been wrongly employed, Leadership reports.
Speaking with newsmen, the public relations officer of the institution, Innocent Ogbonnaya Nwanwo , said the government also directed the Rector of the polytechnic, Sir Obianko Worlu Elechi to proceed on compulsory leave.
Nwanwo said the sack of the newly recruited staff, as well as the directive on the Rector to proceed on compulsory leave was contained in a directive sent to the Polytechnic by the State Ministry of Education.
He said, “The recent employment exercise we had at the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori has been cancelled. The reason is that the government needed to review the process of their employment. The process that brought in the newly employed people; don’t forget, they have not started work, has been called off; it has been terminated by the state government.
“Right now, they don’t have a job here in the Rivers State Polytechnic. Technically speaking, that is the truth. The Rector is on leave; he was asked to proceed on leave.”
