Police Discover Live Ammunition In School Playground


The Channels TV reports that the discovery was made by the explosive ordinance department of the Abia state police command at the school located in Nkata- Ibeku, Umuahia North local government area.
Breafing journalists in Umuahia, Joshak Habila, the commissioner of police, revealed that the discovery was made with the aid of an informant at Nkata Primary School.
He stressed that police would continue making efforts to ensure calm and safe environment for residents of the state.
Abia state police also arrested an undergraduate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Umudike for allegedly using a hot iron on his relatives.
The police apprehended the student after they received a report that an act of inhuman treatment was melted out against two little girls, 11-year-old Hope and 9-year-old Ngozi.
The young girls were punished in such a cruel way for allegedly stealing the sum of 100 Naira.
Earlier this year, pupils of Iguodala primary school in Edo state made a shocking discovery too. Children raised the alarm and rushed to the school gate on sighting a mysterious ‘grave’which had blood sprinkled on it.
