‘What A Man Can Do’…Female Robbery Gang Leader Nabbed In Bauchi


A female robbery suspect has been arrested by the Bauchi State police……

A 27-year-old female armed robbery suspect, Maryam Musa, has once again shown that what a man can do, a woman can do it perfectly, after she was arrested during an operation by the police in Bauchi State.
According to reports, Musa of Anguwan Bawa in Kaduna State, was the leader of a notorious robbery syndicate which operated in most parts of the north including Jos, Kaduna, Bauchi, Gombe and Abuja.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Haruna Mohammed, Musa’s arrest has successfully brought the operations of the deadly and dangerous gang to an end.
He also listed other members of Musa’s gang that were nabbed in the course of the crackdown on criminal elements in the state.
“On the 10/6/2015, at about 09:00hrs, detectives attached to Striking Unit, Bauchi, smashed a syndicate and arrested one Ahmed M Zakari at Mallam Goje, Bauchi.
Discreet investigation led to the arrest of his accomplices as follows:
Ashiru Abdullahi, alias Sarauta, 25 years of Lere LGA of Kaduna State;
Maryam Musa female and 27 years of Anguwan Bawa in Kaduna State;
Munkaila Garba, alias Sholi, male and 38 years of Wayan Makafi, Bauchi
And Yusuf Musa male and 40 years of Makera, Bauchi.
Exhibits recovered so far from the gang included one golden coloured Volkswagen Passat car, five motorcycles, white substance suspected to be cocaine, one sachet of drugs; one fabricated master key and two broken SIM cards.”
