“The key to qualifying for any tournament is good preparation and that is what we are doing in camp, the players are here and we are working towards ensuring that we qualify”, begins the ex-international.
Siasia who took the country to the 2008 edition of the Olympics in Beijing told Complete Sports that the experience will help the present team to qualify for the Rio Games as they play Congo next month in one of the qualifiers.
“Like I have said, we are not going to underrate Congo, this is a team that beat Ghana and we have to do all we can to make sure that we beat them home and away and that is why we are going to play some friendly matches to prepare the players for the challenges ahead.
Meanwhile, the former Nantes of France striker has told Complete Sports that the players that will be invited from the Flying Eagles are expected to add to the quality of players in camp, saying only the best will be picked from the team.
“We are not just going to invite players but those that can add to the quality we have in camp and that is why we are going to call only the best.
