Man Utd beat Liverpool and Chelsea to the signing of world-class Brazil international

MANCHESTER UNITED have agreed a deal to sign Hoffenheim star Roberto Firmino, according to reports.

The Brazil international is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit this summer after another impressive season in Germany.
Liverpool and Chelsea are both believed to be interested in Firmino, but the Daily Star claims that United will sign him for a fee of £17million.

The 23-year-old's imminent move to the Premier League comes as no surprise following his agent's comments earlier this week.
Roger Wittmann confirmed United's interest in Firmino, saying: "All I can say is that he will move to England."

However, Red Devils fans will not be impressed by the forward's recent performances for Brazil in the Copa America.
Firmino had an easy chance to net but fired his shot over the post as Dunga's men crashed to a shock 1-0 defeat against Colombia.
