MANCHESTER CITY'S hopes of signing Paul Pogba have received a boost with both Juventus and Barcelona dismissing suggestions they have reached an agreement for the midfielder.
Juventus
president Andrea Agnellli said: "Pogba is not for sale? In football,
nothing is absolute. Remember the case of Vieri. In football players are
not un-transferable until September 1."
Barcelona
president Josep Bartomeu said: "We will not buy Pogba this year. We are
not planning with him for next season. He is not part of our sporting
plans for 2015-16 at this stage."
